66.02 MILES & A GOOD RIDE

Awesome day today.  Got to ride with hubby on the first half of my ride.  Really proud of him he did a lot of climbing today on top of doing 20 miles.
 Hubby ready to roll.

He led the way I followed.
Here is were he does his hill repeats. I told him were I do mine.
And well here we are going up to California park.  He did one repeat.

Rode home with hubby, then took off again.  The clouds were amazing today. I love watching how they progress hour by hour.
 Dark sky's.  I didn't get rained on.
Well now.  I pulled up to the intersection waiting for the red light to turn green and there a brewers black bird flying around me way close I do think he wanted to land on me.  (LOL)  And gave up, because I was moving around too much.  So he landed on the car that was also waiting for the red light to change.  He was so relaxed he put his foot up.  That's one chilled bird.

The things I ponder.  Children play ground are super safe and what not, except for the drop off of the curb.  I wounder how many toddlers are like yay play ground flop, waaaaaaaa.

 Watering up.

Were are all the clouds.  LOL

So yeah this is my oh shit face.
a truck dove by me at about 25 mph startled a young buck off to my right that was laying down in the tall grass completely camouflaged.  The truck startled the buck, the buck jumped to it's feet and darted out right in front of me.   Yikes.  If I had been going any faster it would have been the bucket for me.

SOME TLC FOR MY BIKE

Well it's time I gave my bike some tender loving care.  I took it to Amain today to get deep down lookeey  loo.  It's 3 years old and I need to make sure everything is A ok!

So it is what it is.  I'm going to be off the bike possible till Monday.  No big deal.  I rather have everything working good, then be out on a ride and have something happen.

I been scrutinizing the route over and over and did I mention over.  And I am also ready to fully accept that I might not get to my goal, but I'm going to try my best.  15 hours does not include rest areas, and food breaks.   I'm going to get up at 4:00am and start riding in a selected area then get to the fair ground at 6:00a.m meet up with Jenni and were off like greased lighting.

I also bought drugs too.  Crank.
Not those type!!!!!!!!

My drug of choice.

That just reminded me, the last pouch I had I poured the remaining white powder into a bowl so I could scoop it better with.  Put the bowl in the cupboard.  I came back and my hubby had this quizzical look on his face and said busted!

I admit it I do cranked!

So tonight was date night at Sierra Nevada Brew house.
Our one a year splurge.
It was slammed.  When we got there, there was a 30 minute wait.  Everyone after us it was up to a hour.   Yikes.

33.02 MILES & ENJOYING THE DAY.

Another great day to be on a bike.  So nice and cool.

In later news of the weird.  And to start off my helmet is not too tight.  Well I discovered to identical groves in my noggin under my hair line.   O-M-G!   Say what?!  I wear my helmet so much it's making groves in my head. Is that possible.  So you could say I don't know weather to laugh or cry?
Moo cows on the way out to the Air port.
Well look at this a Holly Hock growing like crazy on the bike path.  So beautiful.

Other little flowers popping up.   I got out to the Crit Meet up pretty early so I did laps until everyone showed up.
 Chicken.
It was a great turn out at the Crits today.
He forgot his number so he's having it carved into his back.   No he's just goofing off.
 Fun photo bomb.
Space alien coming to take me away.     Oh shit no, just holes in the clouds.

41.03 MILES & SKUNK UPDATE!

Nice end of the day ride that's all.
 Great cloud formation going on.
There were deer in the field.

Lot's of flower blooming and the mosquito were dinning on me. Had to take the pictuers fast.

Another beautiful flower that is blooming.

Big leaves.  Look at my shoe.

The bad news is these little kits had a brother, so there were three of them and there mother had not been seen for over 4 days.   The kits are so young there not weened yet and they can't not spray.

The Good news.  They were rescued and being rehabilitated.
