HUBBY HAS A BIKE!!! & GREAY LODGE

Yayyyy!   Hubby has a bike.   My step father has not been riding his at all, so he just let us have it.   And whats nice Chris and him are the same height so the bike fits him.  It's got some issues from not being ridden, but they can be fixed.     It a tad more heavier than is other bike, so it will give him a work out.   He lucked out big time, because the next time we can afford to get a bike would have been in October and December.  I don't really think he could have waited that long.
Had a pick nick out a Grey Lodge yesterday.   Hot, but really worth it.

Spying on a Green Heron.  They have super huge feet for hanging on to the reeds.

A Black Ibis love these birds.  They don't have a very pretty head, but I still like them.

Lot's of Pollen.  Lot's and lot's of Pollen.   Almost looks like dirt you can walk on.
Right in this area we had a Bittern  Fly over us and land in the reeds.  Another beautiful bird.  There mating call is a very distinct booming sound that can be heard around 5 miles away.   Small bird with a loud call.

Don't worry I didn't hit any one with my paddle.
Lena and me getting ready to go out.
Uh oh. We had two kids with us. LOL  For these two it was there third time out.  The girl was good, the little boy OH! BOY!  He was doing every thing but.  Can we go back, I'm going to stop the canoe by paddling back wards.  I want to go back, can we paddle out into the middle of the lake, can I go out on the canoe by my self, can we stop here to get out, can I sit in front? why can't we.  Why not...why not....why not.   They were singing songs, to keep him busy, it worked a little bit.
At the beginning they both were not listening to any thing the lady in front was saying, they both jumped out of the boat on the side in sallow water and ran to the back of the boat, they wanted to push the boat out.  Then the lady said if you push the boat out your going to stay here.  They both looked at each other jump back into the boat, not using the steps.   LOL

I felt like I was back in Camp LOL.  I can not imagine taking about 9 kids out on a boat, which they did with a whole class.  Ahhhhhh.

Love the coloration on this rock.  And lizards there were a absurd amount of lizards.
Deer.

20.68 MILES & STRANGER THINGS

Yeah I'm rocking to Stranger things right now.  I love this song.

Good windy ride today.  I only did a short ride hubby was feeling a bit under the weather, so hubby comes first.  But I attacked all the small hills I could.   My thighs feel like they're going to pop.  So yes I am sore.   I'm pondering the Friday Group ride tomorrow.
On my way back from Gear Land ( The entrance of Honey Run Rd.)
 * enterence  this is how I want to spell it.  Ughhh!
A Main got some nice cold water and I had just run out so I stopped by to get some and on my way out look what I got!   😁😁  They gave me a water bottle and a hell of a nice one to.   I love it.   I opened it up and smelled it and it smells like nothing.  So I'm a Purist fan.  The top part is awesome, I sucked water from my other bottle and then tried this on and was like Whoa!    So THANK YOU AMAIN!  For a unexpected gift.   I love it and will use it a lot.

Now for stranger things.  I found a pure white Poppy!   My camera was charging to I hope it's there tomorrow.  I hope it is.
After I got my coffee I slid my bank card between the visor, upon parking and getting out I dropped the visor to get the card and the card did not fall.  Whaaaaa?   Seriously.  It was suspended from the ceiling of the car.  ?????   I took a picture of it, but sense the battery was too low it didn't take.   That's what happened to my other pictures disappearing.  You'll have to take my word on it.   I really should have taken a picture of my face.  I was dumbfounded.  Has gravity stopped working inside my car?   Or is my powers rubbing on things around me.  LOL

Lot's of friendly cyclists out today.  I feel bad sometimes, because I have the death warmed over look and sometimes I don't wave.  :(     It happens, but I usually wave.

Coming down toward Hooker Oak park a whole group of mountain bike riders passed me.  I wonder always were their going.

Oh man I remember last year going toward one mile inside the park and I must have past like 25 mountain bikes riders and no one told me they were going to turn in front of me. Ahhhhhhh I gunned it hard and missed them.   That was not my intention.

CYCLING MUSIC

LOVE THIS ONE.  Great for pumping out the miles.

 Youtube it.

NEW CYCLING MUSIC

Alan Walker x David Whistle - Routine

 Youtube it.

CO2

Well now I learned something.
When your fat leaves your body it's exhaled as CO2.   The fat basically turns into a gas and is exhaled.    Cool.  My old speedometer has a CO2 meter on it.  I wondered why it did, now I know.   If you want to watch the whole video copy and past this link.

84.20 MILES WOW & PUSHING MY SELF

Well I WOWed it with the group, we did 32 miles and by the time I got home it was 40.    The weather was just right for cycling, a bit over cast but I don't mind that.  Chilling with some of the group at a local cofffe shop.

Getting home after the first ride.
Aww man it was 15.7  Dropped to 15.2.   Average speed.

Here we go again.  Decided to push my self today and do another 44 miles.   Was aiming for 100, but 84 is just fine for now.

Chico canyon Road.    Nice puffy clouds and a huge Thunder storm on the hills.

Taking a break

This break was at about 70 miles
