20. 63 MILES & THAT'S ALL.

 Wanted to do just a short ride today and get back into the swing of things for tomorrows ride.  I can really feel that I've been up and down and up and down on the step ladder.

Something funny that I've been noticing lately is that there is a company work truck that is flying around Chico and it has the exact same colors as our WOW group jerseys.  At first I though it was just close, but I've been close to it a few times and it makes me laugh.  I swear it's the same shade of green, blue with black and white.     It's bound to happen.

On my way down from horse shoe lake a guy in a car was going slow behind me, this happens a lot, but he made sure his wave was seen.   And he was very courteous when he went around me.   

 On the way up Chico canyon road it looks like someone dumped crushed glass across the side of the road, I spotted it at the last minute and avoided it all. Whew!   That would have been flats-ville for me.


Wow I'm rocking this month I'm at 212.91 this month.  LOL 
August 2017 I did 490.6 miles.   So I got 277.69 miles to go in 4 days. LOL   I'm working two of those days.  

Now just for shits and giggles.   To get to a 1000 miles for this month I would have to ride 196.77 miles four 4 days.  Maybe in the future I could do this, but right now no. 

EDGEWOOD DIAMOND BACK ORDERED

My hubby is ecstatic. We just ordered him a brand new bike.  So he can ride with me again.

As for my self I'm going to do a ride today and then join some friend tomorrow for a ride.

Sadly I miss my WOW group photo shoot today. :(   I tried to get up at 6:45 to get ready and it was not happening, my hubby couldn't even get me up.  My mind was go, my body was no.   Oh well move on.

It looks like the Airport Crits are coming to a end.  Next Tuesday is the last Crit of this year.  :( So no more high speed fun.  I really enjoyed going out there and being part of the antics.

In later news.  I  got a new weapon of choice.  Bwahhahaha, I bought a hand help video camera/ camera.  Be scared, be very scared.   So the rides will now be EPIC!   If your video camera shy I suggest you cycle faster or you'll end up on video.  

Just two more Denny's stores to paint on the 27th and I'll be done.    Then the next job I got is Sportmans Warehouse.  I'll be doing window painting and face painting for them.

When I face painted for them last time I was standing close to the front clerk and a lady came up with so much stuff I had to do a double take.  WTF?  Miss Money bags just entered the store.  Any the clerk range up a whopping $930.00. I was in ear shot and could see the screen.  The lady grabbed a hand full of $100 dollar bills and when the clerk check then under neath the light they were all fake.   Now here the weird part, the manager told her go back to her bank turn them in and that was it.  She did not get her items, but they just let her go.   

ADVENTRUES IN WINDOW PAINTING

 This was in Woodland California.
Just a train going by with just two train cars, and what was unbelievably was with in a few minutes is was going back the other way with the yellow train in front.  I did not see any kind of turn around system and it was the same train.  It must have been a Harry Potter train.
Right next to my car when we first got there a motorcycle was parked.  As I was talking to the store manager about the painting a homeless guy started going thought all the leather bags on the bike and fast like there was something in there of value Say wha..... So she called the cops on him, he was cussing and saying it was his girl friend bike.  The women who owned the bike was not his girl friend and has nothing of value in her bags.  However you know what I think, I think he stashed something in there he stold and came back for it later.  The lady that owned it said she leaves it park there for long periods of time, because she works behind Denny's.  When the police talked to her she was like meh.  If they can't drive off with it I'm fine, because there is nothing of value in the bags. 

Hey look another of the same window paintings.  I can sleep paint this now.

 Lot's of tomato trucks going by, and they were all color coded.  Dark red tomatoes in the front and lighter tomatoes in the back. 

 How do you find a really cool wooden train trestle?   You accidentally read Google maps, which is always right side up, up side down.  Yeah I read the map up side down and we were headed to Sacramento and way off course.  But hey look at this cool track. 

Okay now this was highly frustrating. Like insane.
Ugghh were looking for the Freeway entrance on a 4 way road.   No signs saying free way on our side????  But on the far side of the road a tiny little sign saying freeway. WTF is up with that.   So we ended driving around in circles trying to find the freeway.   I was frazzled.    

Spider.   And no I did not intend to put the spider in the bucket.  LOL  It just line up on accident. 

Green foot.   Talk about freaking out.  Well I got home took off my shoe and sock and was like Holy shit now what?   This is my foot that I have Blood clot and Roth Syndrome in.  Nooo My foot is dying.  For a split second I was holding my breath and panicking.  Then I was oh.  I split green paint on my shoe and sprayed it off with windex, it dyed my foot.  No I'm not going to die.


I just learned today I am rare.  LOL
I'm red headed and blue eyed and apparently that really rare.  I've always believed red hair green eyed was rare, nope it's pretty common.    I hate to disappoint you but I can't grant wishes.     

8 stores painted, 2 more to go.  Then after than I paint Sportsman Wear house.

WHAT I'M UP TO.

Window painted two Denny's stores today.   This is a quick out line of were thing go and lettering. 

Block out the letter in while all the characters in white, then add color.   

More color and just keep adding detail. 

 Done. 















The manager, district manager & regional manager love my work.   So I'm making people happy.  :)

Do you see off to the right some lady parked her wheel chair in a car space like a car.   Got up and went in side.   Why not take the thing inside?   Who know why people do what they do?   

 Got to put hubby to work.  He's cleans up for me and washes the brushes.    He works for cookies.  LOL

19.12 MILES & A NEW JERSEY

 This is the Jersey inspector, making sure the I don't admire my new too much, because she needs pet-tums.

 Yeah just not having a good week.   Let me add the party was fun.   It's just my head space that shitty.   

 I can't believe it another fire.  :(  16,000 acres burned.  Stone Fire stared 3 hours ago.   That is were all this some is coming from.

So off I go tomorrow to paint a lot of stores.  Getting up at 6:30 and going to try to do two stores in one day or if I can 3.  Lets see what happens. 

ALCOHOL & MOSQUITO'S

For those of you that don't know I do not drink alcohol or wine.   Just my choice. 
So what do alcohol have to do with mosquitoes?   A lot LOL!   
At the party toward evening there was tons of them flying around, I had 7 of them in front of me.  By the time I got home I was thinking to my self mosquito bites let the itching ensue. 
I was shocked I only had one bite, WTF how on earth did that happen?
Apparently mosquitos have a taste for alcohol. LOL
This is from a article about what attract mosquitoes and why they bite: 
 Who knew mosquitoes had a taste for beer? The little lushes. In one study researchers found that significantly more mosquitoes landed on study participants after drinking a 12-ounce beer than before. The scientists figured that it was due to increased ethanol content in sweat and skin temperature from consuming the brew, but they were unable to find the exact correlation, just that it happened. So nobody knows why, clearly the crafty pests aren't targeting inebriated folks as easy marks, but it does seem to be a thing.

So that's why.  I was not tasty enough.  LOL
