30.11 MILES & MORE CLIMBING

 Good ride today.
Well I told my self no hill climbing today and found my self doing laps.  LOL

Can't fail.  Lady was cheering me on for making up a small hill.   (Face Palm).
I really considering doing 100 miles in the neighborhood.  Then watch there jaws go slack jaw.   LOL
Reality I'd probably get crickets.  Because when you prove them wrong, they don't want to look at you, you suddenly become invisible, they will not and can not validate what you just did.

Most people can't not and will not give heavy set people validation, that is why you never see people like us in stories or what not.  It's really not common.

And I really believe most of the people who see me, probably think I ride around one or two time and that's it.   So yeah I do 2 miles a day, 56 miles a month.  whooo hooo.

Disclamer:  I'm talking about heavy set people who actually achieve amazing acheivments and win awards.

Skinny and fit is what people what to see.
We're not photogenic.

Hmmm wonder what these are?  Some kind of seed pods.

A beautiful little seed waiting to be waken up.  Got a while to go.

51.35 MILES & A CHILLY FRIDAY GROUP RIDE

So yeah it's cold, really cold.  32 F.   The F stands for Fucking cold.  Wind chill even felt colder.   I was layered like a burrito.   I almost didn't find my gloves.  Oh man I would have been miserable, found them at the last moment.
You can't see it, but the ground is white with frost.

I was surprised 25 people showed up for the ride, despite how cold it was.
 Waiting to roll.

I flubbed this morning.  I had a few bites of yogurt and a gel.  Not enough.

I was doing good until we started head back to Chico.  My stomach was so hungry.  On the way back I saw a chicken and was eyeing it.     So very quickly I got dropped.
 Made it.
Nom nom nom nom.  This tasted soooooo good.
It was enough to get me refueled and feeling good.

 Did I stop riding no.

I headed up and added on some hill repeats.  Got to get ready for Humboldt Time trials.
I love doing figure eights here and hammering it up this small hill.

33.32 MILES & A GOOD DAY FOR HILL CLIMBING

Dam, just not feeling it this week.  Between my migraine and just feeling bleh.
Today was a great day.  I was feeling really good, so I hit the hills hard and did some hill climbing repeats.  Got to get my ass in gear for the January 2020 time trial.

Started today ride off with a flat and had to go over to Amain to get it fixed and was hit with a double whammy surprise.  I was gifted a new bib from Mike Castaldo!    (Thank you!!!) Then Amain didn't charge me for fixing the flat. (Thank you!!!!)   Dang!
But I have to earn my bib.  It's a little tight.  When I first got my tiger jersey it was super tight now it fits.

It was a windy with minimal gust today.  And it got really cold really fast at the end of the ride.

Took advantaged of new roads.  There a small little road to the right of me and it's awesome for up hill sprints.  Not too long, steep and short.
Wow the butte were really visible from here.

There are rock walls all over Chico, for keeping farm animals in.    I wonder how many get knock down by  ((((accident))) to accommodate building.

Is really sad that Chico will eventually become bigger and turn into a big city.   It's not that it won't happen, it will happen.

THE YULE LOGS

Got graciously invited to the YULE LOGS by my friend Jenni.   So I piled in the car with her and her daughters and we were off to the Elray Theater.
Waiting for the show to start.

We almost had to stand the hole time in the mosh pit. I was like nope a de nope nope nope.  So I found basically the last seats available to a sold out show.  We were all the way at the back.
Jenni getting her Yule Log on!

Yule logs are funny and play alternative Christmas Music.

Some of the songs include
Wrestle Mania Christmas
Atheist Serf Holidays.
Bad Boy Christmas.
Rock of Ages
and there are many more whacky songs.

When you entered the theater they had the fog machines on, so the whole place was smokey.   Like a weed convention.   And sense we were at the back we got the full force of the lights.  LMAO  Blinded by the light had a new meaning for us.

Some of the other silent spectators of the El Ray theater.

I had to do a photo bomb.  LOL
Grumpy lady look.

The show was awesomely loud.  LOL    I told Jenni I now know were my spleen is located.  The music was so loud I could feel the bleachers vibrate through the floor right through me and I'm sure everyone else.
It was fun to see Jenni and her girls seat dancing to the music.

The whole place was grooving to the music.   There was even a elderly guy off to the right who was singing and waving his arms. LOL

After the fun was over the next day well 13 hour migraine.

But with good friend it was worth it.

17.02 MILES & HILL CIMBLING WITH HUBBY.

This was yesterday.  12/21/2019

All decorated up and ready to take off.

I tie them on with framing wire so hubby, was just so happy to have his helmet decorated.  LOL.

After climbing Chico Canyon road we rode out the chain link then did some more hill climbing through a near by neighborhood.
