17.98 MILES & JENNIES BLACK FRIDAY RIDE

So I took a break yesterday and I think the whole week is catching up to me.   Today ride I was not exactly at the top of my game.   I'm tired.

But on with the ride.   Beside can't beat Jennies Black Firday discounted rides.  She usually charges $999.99 to ride with her.   Today it was only $999.98.  I'm saving pennies.  LOL

Tiny house.   Some people are like lost my home no problem just build another and life goes on.   Some people don't have disposable income at there finger tips.  So home sweet home.   But then again I don't know. Maybe this person is living in the tiny home until there house is rebuild???

Today was not my day, on the way to the new sight of the Honey Covered Bridge I started to have one of my moving headaches right between the eyes.  So I had to crap out.  If I would have been feeling better we would have gone to Centerville.  But I was like uhhgg home.
Jenni asked for her penny back and we all headed back.

I'm taking a few more days off.  I feel like I've been run over a couple times.

33.06 MILES I LIED & THERE BE CLOUDS!

Shit I was going to try to take a break from the body slam of a ride I did yesterday.  We got home and hubby was like I'm going to do a bike ride.  I seriously could not help my self.  I was suited up and ready to roll.
It was seriously amazing day today the clouds were amazing.  It was windy, but it felt like nothing.   Anything under 50 mph wind gust feel like nothing.

If your wondering yes I'm sore, but the beautiful clouds make worth it.
 Beautiful start to our ride.

 My partner in crime.

Well I almost fell off the bike (AGAIN) at a slow pace.  Saying good by to hubby as he went a different way.  I took a few more photos then on my way off the bridge a couple with a dog was walking toward me. I gave them room and caught my tire on the lip.  OMG!  Through my super human ability of coffee drinking and sarcastic prowess I stayed up right.  I came so close it's not funny.   The guy walking the dog actually ran toward me and was going to try to steady my fall.   Luckily I did not fall.

No this is not bird dookey on the leaves.  There is white leaves all over the place.
The wild pineapple.  LOL No.  But it sure looks like it.
 Beautiful paper flower.
In a huge field of dead things. Little sweet peas.  So tiny.
 Clouds make every thing better.
 And goat make thing grow!
 Goats are magical.

15.11 MILES & WINDY ASS KICKING RIDE.

So yeah today was not a easy ride.   And I totally underestimated how ice cold the rain was going to be. It was like needles, then add small snow peas to those needles.  OMG it's was so cold, and then the wind.   This is what you called a self inflicted ride, I knew what I was getting into.   I've ridden in 40 to 45 mph wind gust and it's can he a little unnerving when the bike gets pushed around.  The wind today was 20 mph with wind gust at 50 mph.  This was a very slow and focused ride.  I was not flying around corners, I was making sure I was not getting knocked off the bike, that how strong the wind was.   One moment your getting pushed the next minute your bike is wobbling or getting pushed off to the side of the road.   This was like major hill climbing from hell.
At one point on a flat I was getting pushed 18 mph, with out peddling, then I would have to slow way down and navigate the corner that was like hitting a wall.

The rain was light, to hard with some hail here and there.  But it was melting fast, except when hitting my face.

Well my cycling rain coat works, but I fail to notices it has not zipper.  Seriously!  It has Velcro.  It stayed closed only half way up and would not stay closed half way down.  Ugghhh.   But either way I'm still glad to have it.
Make sure my speedometer does not die.

I don't understand people!  Why do people use leaf blowers on windy days.  WHY!
And there were people watering there lawns with sprinklers. Seriously!      Aggghhh!
So yeah here is were I had to turn around.  There was no way I could ride forward on this road.  The wind was so strong going towards me peddling was impossible.  This is a first.   I had no choice but to turn around.
I stopped to take this photo.   None of my photo today were taken while riding.  Other wise I would have landed in a ditch.
So yeah I'm colder than a ice cubes in a tray.  At mile 13, my little mental flag when up.   Home, going home, too cold. Home.   My arms and legs looked like I had the worst case of sunburn ever, bright red.  I look like a Lobster.
When I got off the bike I felt like my legs were made of rubber, and I was high stepping at the same time.   Well I high stepped my ass right inside and crashed.   I was super tired and my legs were itching really bad.

My victory meal PIZZZZZZA!

For this month I'm at 498.92 miles.   So I'm happy.   So much better than 54 miles that was last year.
