ZERO MILES & WINDOW PAINTING

So yeah absolutely no time for a quick ride.  :(   I'm been putting in 6, 7 & 8 hour days and coming home way to late to do a bike ride.   So it is what it is.  But heck I'm stair stepping champion.   I wish I could share some pictures with you, but my new camera needs another piece of equipment to work, little did I know, so no pictures right now.    And Monday I have a 11 hour job, that will take me over two days at Twin City Flooring in Yuba City.   I really feel like I've gotten into a space craft and left the cycling world.  :(    My poor bike is just sitting. :(     And like I said as soon as I'm done I'm going to plan out a cycling path for 35 to 40 miles for Chico, Paradise & Durham.    As for Yuba City it is 99 miles.  As for the people who want to really suffer there will be a 132 miles ride, what I'm painting down there is 11 hour of window painting suffering it will be well worth the effort, well that if you like window painting art.  I'm probably going to do the one here in town as of account my legs are going to be zapped by the end of window painting season.    Well check this out I was down in Yuba City painting New Earth Market yesterday and a lady from the Chico Area Group rides said hi.   At first I was uh hi?   Then she told me that she rides with me some times.  Oh!  How funny is that.  I will never know were I'll meet some one.

7.43 FEET & a 2 HOUR WORK OUT

Today was pretty well dead for me, the place I was suppose to paint did not have a awning or protection from the rain so it was a no go.   I really had to shove my self into the gym today.  I was stalling, my body was like yes please and my mind was uh no, so I kick my self in the ass and went to the gym anyway.  Yeah it was that kind of day, the day were you drag your own ass into the gym.
Worked out my legs, by doing legs presses, that really does the trick. I leg pressed 270lbs 3 times in sets of 10, and for the last rep of 10 I added on another 5 pounds to make it 275lbs.  Then I hit the Ladder Machine with a vengeance.  I did 4 minutes three times in intervals.  Yeeeow!   After getting off that machine my legs fell 10 x larger.  So I ended up going 7.43 feet.  Played some racquet ball my with my new (used) racquet I got for $11.00.  So yeah I really like it.  And playing racquet ball after hitting the ladder feels really good on my legs.   So tomorrow I get to climb a real ladder for about 4 hours for one store and another 4 hours for the other store.  So I will be on a ladder about 8 hours.    Ready for the drum roll.  That 531 calories every hour for my height and weight.  So in
8 hour I will burn 4,248 calories.

12.1 MILES & FEELING EVERY THING.

Yeah only did another little ride, I'm really starting to feel the burn of climbing my little ladder & working out at NS Fitness, not that it's a bad thing.  And some other news I was looking at my cycling shorts going shit can't wear them any more, so what am I going to do with them?  I tried them on again and guess what there freak-en lose, really lose like WTF lose.  Huh? Were have I been?  So I guess I can still wear them, but I have to keep pulling them up and the nice thing is there lose around my thigh were as before they were super tight, to the point of leaving a mark.    Today's ride was really cold.
On the way down El Monte a little old lady with huge sunglasses that took up half of her face bolted out of a driveway.  I was like oh hell.  She managed to stop and look right at me and smiled.  Why after trying to kill you do they look at you and smile?   About two days ago walking thought the gas station parking lot another elderly lady no glasses, her car was stopped, but the engine was running....up stairs no one was home.   She kept eye contact with me the whole time, well I had to pass in font of her stopped car to get to the gas station as soon as I did she pulled forward abruptly, shit!   I had to side step the car really fast and she kept eye contact and just kept smiling at me. This lady should have not been driving because after I got back to my car I watch her to the exact same thing with another lady. Really.  That lady let her have it kicked her car and cussed her out.  But she had a huge smile on her face.   It took her forever to parallel park and then it took her forever to just get out of the car.  It's just a matter of time before this lady run over someone.

Last year November 2016  I  only road 107 miles and this is because of the window painting.  So I have a 12 days left to try to beat my score.   So far I have road this month I have ridden 107.5 miles.  In order to get to my goal of 107 miles I have to ride another 63.1 miles.    For December I only road 104 miles.  So yeah not very spectacular.  Oh well.  But like I said I'm can feel everything, last year I was not with NS Fitness all I was doing was cycling and painting. Now I'm cycling, well trying to cycle, painting and NS Fitness.   The only good thing about the fitness center is that is stays open later so I can still pop in there when I want to.   In this month so far I have gotten 9 hour and 25 minutes in of NS Fitness.  So at least I'm doing something rather than nothing.  So it kind of takes the burn off of doing so little cycling.

760,320 INCHES

Well inches make my ride sound more impressive, because it was only 12.1 miles today.  My mind is still at 30 and 40 miles and my body is um no.   Regardless of how I was feeling today I still did a ride.  So now I can say I rode 95.3 miles for the month of November.   I guess so far that better than nothing.     As for the Friday ride that happened today at 9:00,  I saw to of the girls crossing 32 going over into the park.   Right now I would not be doing so hot on a ride like that.   Yesterday the week of window painting really caught up with me and I could not keep my eyes open, even coffee was not doing the trick, I went home and crashed. My cat's were ex-static, our beds back.   But the good news is I'm painting much faster than I did the year before.   It use to take me 6 hours to paint Sushi King, I can now paint it under 5 hours.  So if time is money me be active really helps out.   However I am really missing the group rides.   I bets it's a lot quieter with me not around.  LOL

And I just realized it's my bike Birthday. She's 1 years old. Awww.

2 HR WORK OUT AT NS FITNESS

What a crappy month for riding.  :(    Only 83.3 miles.   Dang!    Well it is what it is.   So far getting on the bike has not been happening.  :(    So today I was like after I paint Fresh Twist, I was like I'm heading to the gym. So I did.   I could really feel my obtruder nerve in my right legs.  It was sore and achy, but it went away.
What's the difference between Jacobs Ladder exercise machine and my ladder I use for window painting.  A-LOT!   I did about 13 minutes on the Ladder contraption.  3 minutes, break, 3 minutes break, 3 minutes, break then 4 minutes.   On this machine it's at a steeper angle than I would be on my little stool or ladder.  My ladder and stool the rungs are flat, on the exercise machine the rungs are rounded.    That reminds me one time I had a window painting job that was 8 hours long and the only ladder at that time had round rungs.  My feet were on fire, because I was balancing on the arch of my foot the whole time.    If you want to buy a good ladder never every buy one with round rungs.    For a window painter it's death by the wrong rung.   And another difference is when your one a regular ladder it's not moving as your moving up.  OMG! I think I would die.  I would never ever get to the window to be able to paint and again the angle is very different, but I can say I really like it.   It the angle that get's me winded faster.  My heart get pumping and I literally get out of breath.  So that's a good thing.    Sense were on the topics of ladders, what is the tallest ladder I climbed?  A three story ladder to get to a roof on a theater, that was intense.  It was straight up and down and metal. I climbed up a on story, then the ladder ended right there we had to shimmy to the right a little then it continued up another 2 stories, it was the only way we could get to the roof.   The highest scaffolding ladder I've been on was 20 feet on a incline.  No this is not for window painting. LOL   This is when I worked for United Artist Theaters and no it was not as a regular employee.

It was so busy today, wow every body was exercising.   There was this one girl just sitting on some equipment I wanted to use and all she was doing was texting.  Really.  I used other equipment and just kept one eye to see if was gone yet, nope, still texting.  Come to think of it, I think only about three people including me were not texting.   How do you get a good work out, if your not in the moment of what your doing.?????      Oh well.    Let's be thankful Dr don't text while they do surgery.
I played some racquet ball and in the court next to me I could hear wham!  wham!   I was like holy shit what kind of racquet ball game are they playing Bowling ball version?   Stopped what I was doing and two girls were in their practicing with soccer balls and kicking them against the wall.   Now I know, because it really echoed on my side.

Now here is some real cool beans from NS Fitness.   If you donate a whole turkey you get a session for free, I believe it is a whole month, but I suggest for you to call in just to make sure.   But regardless it's a sweet deal. Your helping a needy family and getting some exercise time in.   They also have a food drive bin, so if your in the area and feel the need to share there bin is right in the front.

HOLI_DAZE & TOO MUCH FOOD!

Even when my hubby and I were at our maximum weights we did not like eating this much food.  I made the Turkey, homemade stuffing with mash potatoes and home made bread with a pie.  Then we just kept cutting things out.  Thanks giving and Christmas does not make me hungry it make me queezy.  Yeah I'll go to my mom's for thanks giving, but she suddenly seeing things my way, so were have a very light dinning experience.   Everyone give them selves an excuse to eat more, well because it's the Holidays.  I don't if your going to keep it off you can't use a holiday as a excuse.

HOLI - DAZE   Just my musings on what I think about the Daze ahead.

Here we have two holidays smacked right next together, only one month apart.  And with that two really huge meals.   Thanks Giving with the Turkey, mash potatoes, stuffing, pies, green beans, and a multitude of side dishes that are heavy as bricks on the stomach.   Then Hey it's Christmas! Happy Holidays every one!   "Hey Idiot! it's Merry Christmas!" ...........Ok  "Merry Christmas Everyone"!   Did I get it right this time?  What ever! Season Somethings.   Well what ever it is it's pretty messed up.   Anyway then with Christmas we have Ham and cherries, another Turkey and another cluster of really heavy side dishes.   WHY!  Let us hope that some one does not come up with a holiday in between  Thank Giving and Christmas.
I could understand it if the holi-daze were maybe 6 month apart, but their exactly one month apart.

So yeah the thing that is call Thanks Giving sucks us in every year, we have to appease the parents and yes my hubby and I will be eating turkey, stuffing and mash potatoes on the Thanks Giving day indoctrination, but Christmas, hell no.  Uh uh.

Check list for the Holi-days

1. Black Friday......................................................................................................... Relaxing at home.
2. Going nuts trying to make every thing prefect.................................................. ..Relaxing at home.
3.  Buying Christmas Presents...................................................................................................Nope.
4. Christmas tree or nativity.......................................................................................................Nope.
5. Spending time cuddling with my hubby while watching movies.................................Definitely!

If I had it my way Christmas would be every four years like the Olympics, why?

1. It really would be something to look forward.
2. You could really buy someone that extra special gift, that would have more meaning.
3. No one would get killed during Black Friday, because over the four years you could save up for the wanted item.
4. To see decorations after four year it would truly be magical wonderland.
5. It would make people happier, because they would now at the end of each year they would not be pulling their hair out with traffic, rude people, and crazy people.

With all this being said.   I'm going to still my to make my caramelized pumpkin pie, not no actual caramel is added.  My in-laws go nuts over this.   So yes I'm still have to march step a little.
FOR KICKS & GIGGLES HERE IS THE NOT HEALTHY VERSION!   BWHAAAAA!
PUMPKIN PIE

This is a yummy addition to the fall table.  It's a little more work than the persimmon pie, but still so worth it.  Persimmon and Pumpkin pies are basically identical to each other. Except for one differents.  You have to steam the Pumpkin, but you don't have to steam the Persimmon.

NOTE: To really get the full flavor of this pie, use freshly grated or crushed spices.

PUMPKIN PIE INGREDIENTS:

DOUGH

2 Sticks of butter.  Cut into cubes and chilled in the freezer
3 to 5 Tablespoons of Ice water.
4 cups of flour.

FILLING:
1 3/4 Cup of Pumpkin You will need 1 pie pumpkin for this.
3 Eggs
3/4 Cup Sugar
3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Cup of Condensed Milk
5 Table spoons of flour
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
1/2 Teaspoon ground fresh cloves
1/2 Teaspoon nutmeg freshly grated.
1/2 or more of freshly grated Ginger.

METHOD OF PREPARATION:

Have either a glass pie dish ready or a foil one, either will do fine.

FIRST: MAKING THE DOUGH.

Put the four cups of flour into a large glass dish and add the 2 cups of diced chilled butter.  Now with either a pastry knife or your fingers.  Work the butter into the flour until it look like a course bread meal and no big clumps of butter remain.  Next add 3 table spoons at a time of cold ice water and mix into the mixture until it starts to hold, if need be add 2 more tablespoons.  Do not get discouraged at this point.  Think of it as compacting a snow ball. Keep working the mixture into a dough ball and compacting it as you go.   After you have your ball, you do not need to kneed it.  Put it back into the glass dish and cover it with plastic wrap and rest it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.

SECOND: STEAMING THE PUMPKIN.
Cut the pumpkin in half and scrap out the seeds really good. Now cut in half again.  Place face down and over lap the halves  in a steamer basket. Make sure the lid is flush with the top of the pot.  If you have a small steamer, steam the pumpkin in batches. Steam until you can stick a knife thought it real easily. When done the flesh should be nice and soft and easily scrapped off the skin. Measure what you need, and put the rest in a freezer container for a later pie.

THIRD: MAKING THE PIE FILLING
Break your eggs into a bowl and beat with a egg beater for about 2 minutes then add the sugar, keep beating. Then pour in the condensed milk, beat in, add the brown sugar, add all the freshly grated or crushed spices, beat in.  Now add the smashed pumpkin, beat in and last but not least add the 5 Table spoons of flour and beat in.  Cover and put in the refrigerator.

FOURTH: BLIND BAKING THE PIE DOUGH & COOKING

Remove the Pie Dough from the refrigerator. Sprinkle flour on your cutting board and place the dough ball on the cutting board.  Now start to roll the dough out, making sure that it does not stick to the cutting board.  Keep on rolling it out until it is thin and look about the size of your pie dish.  Now very carefully use your rolling pin to roll the dough on to and unroll it on to the pie dish to see if it fits.  If not roll it back on to the pin and roll it out more.  Note: Practice Makes Prefect, so don't give up on this part.  Once your pie dough is the right size, gently push in into shape of the pie dish.  When it come to this part I go for the rustic look, either way it's going to be yummy, but if you want to try some pretty shapes go for it.   This is your pie and your creation.   Next use a tooth pick to poke a lot of holes into the bottom of the pit dough, then put about a handful of dried beans on top of the dough.  (Don't throw the beans out, keep them for the next time you make another pie).  Turn the oven to 325 and put the pie dough into the oven for about 10 to 15 minutes.  But keep and eye on it.   It's ok if the pie dough turns light, light brown, but do not let it turn golden.  After it is done take it out and let it cool.
Next take the filling out of the refrigerator and pour it into the cooled pie crust.   Place into the oven and turn the oven to 400 and cook for 45 to 55 minutes.  Again keep an eye on it.   Your pie will be done when you can stick a tooth pick in the middle and it comes out clean.  And another thing, it is ok if the very middle of the pie is a tad liquidity, that fine.  As long as the whole pie has a nice Golden Brown Color to it.   Let the Pie rest for 1 hour.  Yeah I know that hard, but this allows the pie to settle and firm up.   It like when you take a cookie out of the oven, it soft at first then as it cool it get hard.

Additional notes: Letting the pie rest, let it firm up and you can make these pies up ahead of time and freeze them, and all you have to do is let them thaw for a hour.

Get a big spoon full of whip Cream and dig in.

3HR & 10 MINUTE WORK OUT

Well sense I flubbed on the ride this morning.  I kicked ass at the gym by doing a 3 hour and 10 minutes work out.   And yes I'm sore.  And I found new exercise machine hiding all the way in the back of the heavy weight room.  I don't go there, because NO! I can't lift anything in that room.  I walk back there to go out side and I flipped the second largest tractor tire four time.  On the way back in I was like what the heck is that.   I ask a employee and they explained to me and so of course I was like I want to try it out.   HOLY SHIT!  This is a freaking hell of a work out.  Two minutes on this and I was out of breath and my heart was pounding.  I managed to get 4 reps in.  So yes I will be defiantly using this machine.    Well here is how it works you put a belt and adjust it to your height, so I looked for 5'9 and adjusted it.   When you step on and start climbing you can go slow or fast.  And when you want to stop all you do is ride the rung to the bottom and get off.   For some reason by adjusting the belt to your height it lets the computer the speed of the rungs.    When I first tried it out I put the belt on, got on and started climbing and I could not even get to were the lady is in the picture and I was so out of breath.  As soon as I was told to adjust the belt to my height and got back on I was able to look at the screen.
I did everything in reps of 4, played some racquet ball, did stretches and just kept going.  I even road 5 miles on a stationary bike.... oh the humanity.     I do believe with the smaller jobs I have I'll be able to get some exercising in here and there, but with the huge projects um no.

Well 11/13/2017  I'll be 43 years old.   I talk to a man who was 97 years old and he told me that your 40's are the best years of your life.   When your in your 20 is about what you can get,  when your in your 30's is about holding on to what you have and when you reach your 40's your like fuck it all and just enjoy life.

CANCLED NORTH RIM NIGHT TRAINING

Well I was all ready to go open the door and it started coming down hard.  My hubby looked at me and said you nut's if you head out.  So I opted to say home.  The road would have been really slick and I could not envision my self going around the corners fast on slick roads.   When I got back on line I saw that it was canceled, so that's, that.     Beside my energy level today was pretty shitty, in fact so shitty I didn't even go to NS for a little work out.

12.1 MILES W/ WINDOW PAINTING.

And here we go into Window painting season.  My camera finally kicked the bucket, so I was unable to take a picture of what I did today, so for you viewing enjoyment this is one piece I did for Skyway Pet Hospital in Paradise.   The actual window painting today took me 2 1/2 hours.   That 1,140 calories burn.   I also did a short ride through the park which was only 700 calories.  So today I burned 1,840 calories.    Well I'm starting to see a good side effect of all the riding and working out.   I'm painting a lot faster than I use to.     So for shits and giggles if I decided to do 1 hour of racket ball,  2 hours of core & weights, 2 hours of window painting and 2 hours of bike riding.  Yes I'd die, but here's how many calories I would burn.   4,840 calories.  LOL   I do not want to die.  So no I'm not going to do this, because that would be a 7 hour work out, or in other words my own personal Iron Nut.

BLACK CAT TOUR DE CHICO

Well I was just thinking how fun it would be to have a BLACK CAT TOUR DE CHICO after the 1st of January.  It's a idea in progress.  This way everybody I ride with can see all my work around town and in Paradise and of course the ride would end with coffee.  ;)

This is a work in progress:

Chico & Paradise would be about 50 miles total.
And if I add on Orland that would  make it over 100.  But hey if people what to do 100, that could be a possible.   Maybe have three different route, easy, medium and insane.   So yeah I'll be playing around with the idea.  I think it would be fun.  Heck people drive around and look at Christmas Lights, so why not ride around and look at window paintings.       But I doubt I would have any bites for Yuba City?  LOL  maybe?

1 HR OF MAKING A RACQUET!

Well what can I say my legs were totally wigging out on me to move.  So when you don't want to ride into the wind, racquet ball really does the trick.    I really like to end my work out in the gym with racquet ball it feels really good to move around after everything.
But I think I said this before I'm probably breaking every rule in the book.  I think I need to start watching some videos and at least learn what the rules are.
I know exactly when my hour is up with out looking at the clock.  How?  My right leg in the inner thigh will start to make a light tingling feeling as soon as I feel that I know enough is enough.   Actually it's the same on a bike ride, but it's not that feeling.   I have my little mental flags that go up and tell me what I need to do and when I need to do it.  Yeah sound weird, but so far it's help me not hurt my self.   Because so far after 4 year of riding I haven't.    Racquet ball is not really that exciting to write about, because I'm standing inside a large box flinging my self around trying to hit the ball.  It's not like cycling were I'm actually moving along and seeing different things.    So it is what it is, but for 1 hour I lose 500 calories??   Well shit I just looked it up to be sure I was right and my Ugghhh.  The bad news is my brain is working perfectly fine by screwing things up.  The good news it's not 500 calories.  It's 1000 calories for my weight.  I got to redo my total calories burn, because it's even more. LOL    On that note my hubby is urging me to have my thyroid checked out again.   I did a while back and every thing came back fine, but he thinks it's strange that here I have been doing all this exercising, burning a shit load of calories and I'm only dropping 5 pounds a while back and now I'm haven't moved.   He calculated that I should have at least lost 11 pound.  Yeah I drink coffee, but we generally eat really healthy, and my hubby know how I eat.  It should be coming off.

CRUSH RIDE PICTURE.

Well sense my camera died this was the only picture I could find.    I'm off to the far right.  Look for the cookie monster.  There was about 30 of us on this ride.   But come to thing of it there really was not any time to take pictures.

51.9 MILES & CRUSHED BY THE WIND!

Well only three people from the North Rim Group showed up that included me, the rest of the riders were lanky, decked out and speaking in cycling code. The weather was overcast, very windy and with a little bit of drizzle here and there along the way.  Other wise the prefect day to get my ass kicked out of left field.   This was truly a grueling ride.  From 1 mile out to the over pass towards Coal Canyon it was riding into a strong head wind and riding the hills first really took it out of me.  When I did the Crush ride in reverse I was able to build up to the hills, and still have energy to do a sprint toward the Midway.   Doing the hills first, holy shit)  yay there small, but there is a lot of them.  And mind you the first Crush Ride I did we at least rested about 3 times.  This ride we just stopped at the freeway pass.  When we were on the over pass we got a lot of friendly honks from the cars.  And on the midway too. That's 100% better than getting the loud horn and a middle finger.
So yes I got dropped a lot, actually repeatedly.   The first drop was just before the high way pass going out to Butte College.  Then someone got a flat, so a bunch of them stopped and I would pass them.   Then I got dropped again pass the college.

The gaggle of cyclist flew by me like I was sitting still and they continued straight ahead.  (????)   I was like I don't remember the Crush ride going that way.  So I followed a guy for a while and I did the route I remembered.  Of course I fell behind him.   Slogging along yet again the gaggle of cyclist passed me again.  LOL How many time can one person be dropped in one ride?   Lot's.    When I got to first and only rest stop on the overpass it was so cold, when your moving your body warm up and then when you stop burrrrrr.
So after our break we headed off toward 99 and again a whole slue of cyclist got more flats, it steamed like they were dropping like files.  By default this was allowing me to not get that far behind.  So by the time I got to the midway and down a ways the first group passed me again and I got dropped.  I had to stop and take a break, my thighs were on fire.  I literally could feel all of October cycling & NS fitness.   So yes I am so sore.    So got back on my bike kept slogging and one of the guys ahead came back and what checking on the only straggler me, and he kept riding to see if the second group had caught up. They had not.   So make me wonder how many flats they had.  I road with the first group from

Durham and yes I got dropped again, I was really tired.    I can do 40 and 50 miles, but add the hills and wind and it changed the whole dynamics of the ride for me.

Considering my average speed isn't spectacular, but I was surprised I was in the 14.7 range.  It was in the 15 range, until I slow down and when home.   So 14.7 is better than 13.    In comparison my average speed on the last Crush Ride that was done backward was 16.1.

I'm so sore.  The LDS ride is tomorrow, I don't think I'm going to do it.  :(     And like I said, been working out at NS and Yes I can feel it.

NS FITNESS & A REVIEW OF OCTOBER.

As of today I'm going to regularly log my NS Fitness work out.   I've only longed a few, but as for November I'm going to log as much as I can. This ties into my cycling, me building up my core strength.  I do not have a trainer,  instead I am being my own trainer.  Kind of like I did when I started out cycling.  No one is going to hold your hand,  it's either you get your ass out there and train or you don't.
Well looking back on October I really did good.  So what I didn't make it to 500 miles...meh.  467.8 miles is just fine.

Calories Burned for cycling, spinning included............26,400
Calories Burned for working out..................................13,340
   Total Calories Burned for October.....39,740.
 Hell yeah!!!!!

So for the whole month of October I was in the gym 13 day and a total of 16 hours and 96 minutes.  So yes I feel good.

I finally found my limit to wearing my self out as in getting home and waking up sore the next morning.   The limit for me is working out in the gym for 2 hours and 30 minutes.  That is when I have to call it quits.

In other news I only have 731.81 miles to go, from 3,096.78.

THE GLARE!

The glare.   When I got to the spot yesterday where we did the hill repeats there was this very skinny lady walking up and down the same block as I was riding up.  The first time she saw me she had a smile smirk on her face.  I can only imagine what was going through her mind.   Well after second and third lap she had nail for me.  By this time I had the smirk on my face.   Yes lady I look like this, I'm riding a bike that this and I can do this, so phhhttttt.   And after the next 3 laps she would spot me coming and avoided me like the plague with two wheels.  LOL    That reminds me of the lady who was cheering me on when I was doing laps up the mini hill or terror as I now call it.   This is when I was doing reps on a way smaller hill.   I was on my first lap and she was yelling "Come on you can do it, woman power"  After I when back down and did it four more time's her enthusiasm and smiles completely disappeared. And they all do the same thing they totally eye contact, but they do the side eye with a sneer.    Like WTF    Oh my god do I get this at the GYM.    LOL   But I'm not going there for them, I'm going there for me so LOL.    When people glare, stare and sneer that is my fuel.   I feed off that, because it proves them wrong.
In other news I was going to join the spinning class this morning, but had a last minute change of plans, hubby want a ride to school.   So it's not the end of the world.   So today with just be a regular work out 2 1/2 hours of wearing my self out.   But I really have to admit I like doing the racket ball afterward, it fun and it my time to chill out while still burning more calories.

19.3 NORTH RIM TRAINING AT NIGHT

Decided to join North Rim Hill training tonight.  Instead of riding to North Rim it self I just road out from my home right there, I was a bit early so I was like why not I started to do reps on my own. I when around a total of seven times before meeting up with a lady named Jenni and her little orange cat named George, not George was not interested in doing reps with us, he just walk off indifferent.  Jenni and I did another lap together and as soon as we got to the top sure enough here come the cyclist lot's of cyclist.   I want to say almost 30.   We got the lecture from the guy in change and whats amusing is it's clip on's this clip on that.  I don't have clip on's.   So yeah.  Actually I was not the only one there with out clip on's, there was a young man with a prosthetic leg. Total respect.
So we did the 4 reps around the big hill and then we moved on to another hill I have never been too, a bit shorter, but still hard, so we all did about 5 times around in a circle.
Now I can tell you it nerve wracking  going fast around a corner at night.  I was really uneasy, a guy when by me from behind me and it was just a little to close for comfort.   So yeah I didn't like that part, and another thing is I could not see my speedometer so I could not tell how fast I was going.  When I got home my max speed was 27.2 mph.  Eeeeeee Where did I do that?????

I got another back light :) from Bike Dr Mike.  Good thing, because the other one the battery just died.  And it was so dark I really needed it.   After riding in circles in the dark well all went home.  I followed the group back the way they had come and it was the first time going back to the park that way, well I did not know about these huge rock right next to the path and caught my peddle on one....Yikes.  I dislodge it and it
tumbled out behind the bike, I think it was a large pumice stone, it just sounded like pumice.   So head back home it's dark and everyone light are enough to make out where were going.  Becky light is so bight I mistaken it for a shooting star.   I can still see it.  Well as soon as we go to the park I said by and when straight into darkness.  HOLY SHIT, it's then I realised how week my light was, I could not see anything.  Don't get me wrong I'm glad to have a light, but I was totally caught off guard.  So I dropped my speed and was riding very cautiously.   Now when there was street lights I could at least see,
but riding down El Monte Drive was pitch black.     Here I am making my way and out of the corner of my eye I see a slow moving orange thing moving on the other side of the Road.  Hubby?????   Who else would be riding with a orange shirt.    So I slowed down and called out, sure enough worried hubby to the rescue.  He totally freaked out because I was not home in a timely manner.   So my hubby rescued me from the night.  We road really slow home and when I got home he even had a meal waiting for me.    Pampered by hubby.  <3
So tomorrow is Spin class with David.

In other new I now know that this Window Paining season is going to be wild.  So I'm going to do my best to keep up with the cycling if I miss some, so be it the same goes for the NS Fitness.   What I plan to do after the money start rolling in.  MONEY BATH!!!!!!   No.   Reality take care of the important stuff then.  Get a new front tire.  Have my bent derailleur looked at and check out this bad ass Jersey.  RAWWWWW!    This is mine.
