SHOULDER PADS?

So well somebody who seems very miffed that I'm doing as many miles as I am ask me if I'm wearing shoulder pads.   
If you asking a silly question I'm going to give you a silly response.  
I told him yes I'm wearing shoulder pad stack in rows of 8 on each side.  Very fashionable with cyclist now days.  And even though you can't see it, I'm also am wearing bell bottoms to.
